These images show some of the initial cover designs from the original idea, the research into newspapers and the Minalima daily prophet work. Overall the communication was not right as there was too much extra content and the key information title, subheading and author wasn't the central focus. I additionally experimented with some blood drops coming from the word 'blood' but this seemed childish and didn't reflect the serious nature of the book.
