looking at website of the galleries they already know,

This in a way reconfirmed what I already knew that the problem was apparent and seemed to effect not only me, how the Art Map is advertised can be informed by this, placing advertisements in the places where the users would be searching could be effective.
Question 2. What are the positives and negatives of these websites/apps?
Positives -
Lots to choose from, gives a large overview.
Negatives -
Not much time in advance to plan the trip,
A lot of information that isn't diluted down,
no information on how to get there
Not enough information of what is inside the exhibition.
Some events aren't clearly enough explained, if you can photograph inside the exhibition,
No live updates
Search is necessary

How long its on for,
Similar exhibitions around the area,
how to get there

how long it takes on average to look around,

Simplistic, informative, use images of exhibition,
be clear to read and understand

Question 5. Finding the right exhibition for the user is key, how could this process be made easier?
Filtered searches,
asking what their favourite artists/designers are, what they are into, how much they are willing to spend

To insure the feedback was relevant and could be applied to the designing and content asking specific questions was important. This feedback at times just confirmed what I already knew but some new and interesting suggestions were made.
