As the project requires a number of formats it is important to consider how the idea would translate. An idea that stems from the original idea is having the lettering on a flyer or even an online ad and having some of the small characters sitting on around and on top of the type much like the
I amsterdam sign above. This is a simple but effective way of connecting the type and the characters together.
This small test of the idea shows the potential, the people give the design so much more character and when combined with more refined illustrations it will communicate much more effectively.
