Idea 4 looks at the use of simple abstract shape and how it can be displayed to be eye-catching and interesting. Looking at composing the shapes on the page to be dynamic and as engaging as possible.
This idea uses a two colour toned collage inspired by the dynamic paintings by Kasmir Malevich, the layout of shape on the page creates an eye-catching design that feel balanced within the square format.
This idea is more greatly influenced by Rafael Rozendall's abstract web based design. It highlights the relationship between the two shapes compared to the yellow background. I wanted to implement one of the quotes I had found to give the design more of a balance.
This idea is a play on the contrast of the red and blue, I found composing the image relative to the large and small spaces created some engaging designs that have an extra level of depth to them.
Once again looking at simple collage I have created this design. Using a contrast of light and dark pink and purple tones I have tried to balance the shapes on the page in relation to the square space.
This image is taken from one of my mono-prints, I have highlighted a small aspect of my print, looking at using a section of the circle in th top left and then some darker green tones in contrast. I think the way the mono-print looks and feels creates an interesting and alluring album cover.
Using more pastel tones for my collage designs looking at more regimented square and rectangle shapes and how they look together.
The small details of the collage make for an tactle and much more personal design rather than using a computer to create the designs.
