Feedback on Hitchhikers Guide idea

Today we spoke in groups about our chosen project and what we were going to try to achieve in the following two weeks. I spoke about my idea of creating a Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy themed leaflet that looks like the computer like book as seen in the books and films and especially the animation videos I analysed from the 2005 film rendition of the book. I spoke about how the tone of voice in the videos were very direct and informative and would create the interesting basis for a kind of spin of on road safety. The feedback I received was helpful even though nobody was to aware of the books and films they liked the idea of using a quiet competent and descriptive tone of voice. They did say that I needed to identify my target market with a little more consideration as some viewers would not fully understand. I also showed some initial design ideas for how I could layout the leaflet like a sort of fold out commuter kind of design and they thought for younger people this would be more engaging. I additionally received some helpful feedback from a few friends that had seen the film and understood the context better. They thought that this idea would be effective if done right and that the aesthetics and design in the film would work adapted into a leaflet.
