Finalising Design Ideas

I have created this design as a tester before moving into InDesign to create a digital version of this work. I looked at designing this a much ore finished design with the text and layout especially for the first page to be more refined and planned out. This would then allow me when moving onto the computer to be able to refer back to the physical copy to see how the paper folding and layout read when it will be printed. This would also allow me to think about the hierarchy of information and what it is that is read first and where this must be placed to make the design as engaging and informative as possible.
This first page you can see the back over is in the centre and the front on the right hand side this way of folding the paper allows the leaflet to be opened once and show the left hand side of the back page and also the page above the the leaflet hand side. This allows the two remaining pages on the side bellow to be out of view until the leaflet is fully unfolded. I think this technique in terms of creating a computer, tablet style leaflet will be the most engaging considering the paper size limitations on the brief being no bigger than 35.3 cm by 25cm. On the layout for the front page shown above I have looked at how the designs will be laid out in a simplistic style. I wanted the page on the left to be very engaging and draw the viewer in as much as possible as when you read the publication that is the first bit of informative information that you see.

For the designs above I kept it very simple just showing the top bar menu and how that will be laid out across all three of the back pages and using some of the statics I have gathered for this subject. I think for this folding design it is important that I make sure I measure all of the things I want to keep consistent from page to page as I don't want my design to no be inline when I have printed it out.
