This article on published by The Guardian, highlights how the new travel ban will greatly effect refugees trying to enter the US. The new order sees a cut in half of the amount of refugees that will be able to enter the US. 

Trump has refused to admit that the ban is due to religious reasons but from outside observation the selection of these primarily Muslim countries is really shocking. 

As highlighted in the quote above often the US is seen as a marker to replicate for other countries. But this new bill ' continues to send a terrible message to the rest of the world on the refugee crisis.' 

The New York Times published a similar article outlining the effects of the new travel ban being only ban news for refugees. Highlighting one story of a family that had their lively hood destroyed by gang violence. It seems as if the politicians of the US have turned a blind eye to the rest of the world around them.
