OUGD503 - Responsive - Building a narrative.


As the brief requires a single really well thought out, planned and finalised idea it seemed appropriate to try and push it further. Building up more of a narrative would make the overall communicating more interesting and thought provoking. This mind map outlines the possible ways of approaching the brief.  Highlighting how it would manifest in Print and in Digital and the links in between. Creating a campaign that can be consistent across print and digital will ensure the best communication possible. 

  
As it was made clear the movies needed more of a range of styles. Listing each of the iconic film style Cult, Classic, Romance, Etc. Then picking a film for each of these to best represent the genre. Each of these films has a large set of images to back them up, I could begin creating a narrative around the images to make sure each ad is as engaging as possible yet remaining consistent throughout. 

Sketching out each image I plan to use allows an understanding out how the images would look and hopefully begin to build a story around them. Getting the balance of mystery and information is key.
