Little White Lies, a magazine dedicated to film, giving really in-depth analysis of a singular film per issue. One thing that Little White Lies does so well is using illustrators, this creates an engaging design that takes a different style each issue. In terms of film and the ethos of MUBI its not far from Little White Lies and there is a lot to learn from the magazine and website.
Much like MUBI, Little White Lies is all about cinema and great movies, their online presence is something to consider, as well as the website and magazine they are on almost every social media channel around but posting really interesting and engaging content.
Posting intriguing, relevant content means that the user is constantly reminded of LWL as well as gaining knowledge of what is out there in the film world daily.
A possible idea informed by Little White Lies would be to commission illustrators to do posters of some of the great movies MUBI has on offer.
