OUGD505 - Design Practice 2 - Product Range Distribution - Planning format.

In terms of the format I would like the publication to be as large as possible, this would best highlight the high quality images leave some space for the descriptions. Considering the limitations of double sided printing at A3 in the university facilities this seems an appropriate place to start. With the 3/5mm bleed and the crop marks I would like to see what the full size I could print. 

After printing out a spread in A3 with crop marks and 5mm bleed (required for double sided) the largest size I could print would be 193mm x 273 mm this is the fullest double sided possible. 

Through feedback and a few discussions with peers and tutors it has become apparent that when thinking about the books target audience, content and overall message that it is best suited as a photography/art book this means the issues will still remain central to the designs yet the artistic values of each image highlighted. 

Target Audience: Art enthusiasts, medium to high level income, disposable income. An appreciation of simplistic and relevant design. Wants something that looks and feels nice. Wants more context and information. Possibly interest in a poster range as-well. Book shops, creative blog websites E.g creative review, its nice that. An accompanying website. Would want to see the imagery on social media before anything. 

Considering this target audience its important to look at how the book could manifest and what platforms this could take place in.
