Idea 1: Creating a series of high impact posters using the image taken from Google Earth Pro. Using the imagery large as well as some further explanation, aiming to highlight the dangers as well as the beauty of some of the imagery. Digital Print/Screen Print.
Peer Comment: A basic idea that could be carried out with success, the communication would be direct and straight to the point. - Consider which image would go on the posters.
Idea 2. A Online based page/site for viewing the images and gaining information on the contexts. This format would allow for more moving image based work as well as a possibility of infographics. The screen would need to be utilised to best display the issues associated with borders.
Peer Comment: The possible moving images could make the content more engaging, a wider access to more people. Further sharing via social media.
Idea 3. A refined publication/zine/magazine all about boarders using not only the images collected but more information, photography and wider contexts. A way of engaging the reader on content they wouldn't normally see. Using all my past editorial design experience. Looking at inferesting formats and ways of reading outlined by Real Review Magazine & The New York Times Magazine, High Rise edition.
Peer Comment: The most appropriate format considering the content. How scale and size is treated will dictate the publication. Think more about the message of each border. Maybe categories each image to make sections of the publication. e.g South America/North America, Asian....
Idea 4. Creating an infographic based outcome. Looking at statistical research, combining this with the images to create a poster/publication or informative piece of work on the topic.
Peer Comment: Would need a much extended level of research. A way of really making people aware and engage with an issue. Would need to show illustrative skills also.
Moving forward considering my feedback and ideas it seems most appropriate to look into publication design, I have already began some initial thoughts into this kind of work and the content on show will be best suited to a printed outcome. Considering this I would also like to try and create some posters to work alongside the publication. Much like the work of Printed Pages a poster gives the viewer more and an extra context.
