As the project processes and the topics are evolving it is a great time to redefine the brief. This will be a focus of the third year studies, it is an important skill to be able to define briefs as often the full information will not be included. The new brief considers the further research and the new topic of Boarders.
Brief: Formulate a body of practical work in response to the topic of boarders, highlighting the conflicts, social, political and wider issues that these boarders pose.
Exploring interesting and innovative ways of looking at this information and how it can be displayed.
The outcomes could possibly include, a publication and/or poster. Considering how to best display the information appropriately.
The outcomes should show as high level of professionalism and development as any other project undertaken.
Problem: Inform engaged people on the social, political and environmental impacts of borders and border walls in particular.
Solution: Highlighting these issues through found satellite imagery showing a different perspective on the idea of borders.
Aims: To inform and intrigue an audience on the issues that confront some of the most dangerous, strange and interesting boarders in the world.
The work will be positioned as an "art & photography" piece therefore considerations to this must be made.
Further expansion on editorial/poster design to be considered looking at contemporary practitioners.
