OUGD505 - Design Practice 2 - Product Range Distribution - Photography/Art Books Research - Village book Store & Exhibition



 After analysing more the target audience it seemed appropriate to look at Village Book Store. This place is the perfect example of including photography and art books. Looking at there new exhibitions and how they might advertise distribute and put out imagery for new books. 
There website features large full bleed imagery alongside very trendy san serif typography. 
























Following on from this it is appropriate to look at their Instagram account, this shows a direct correlation between the website. It gives further information on the work often displayed through gifs to give a further context. 




This exhibition for Holy Water by Christopher Nunn shows a stripped back and simple communication. This styling is contemporary at the moment and quite typical of this kind of media. This could be a possible avenue to look into in terms of the aesthetics. 





The way the spreads of this book have been displayed is very interesting, looking at using a gif to show the overall structure, all in all this graphic style form of distribution and communication could be really excellent for this project and is a definite consideration.
