Creative Convos - Posters and Evaluation
From the outset we knew we wanted to be able to give each speaker a poster for them to take away, these intial ideas show how the designs came out. My designs bellow looked at using the typeface again but with the inclusion of some bright fun and interesting colours. In contrast to the rest of the identify and branding.
Overall I was really pleased with the quality of the posters and I was able to give one to Dines, Abraham Asefew and Chris Shuttleworth. They seemed really pleased and it could be a great in for the future. The colour combinations used aims to highlight the typography and make an intriguing at fun poster design.
Overall working on the Creative Convos brief has been really challenging but really rewarding, its great to have my work out there and interacted with. In terms of collaborating me and James make a good team and work with each other strengths really well. Working with Alec as our kind of boss was really useful to see how clients might behave and things like amendments are a learning curve. With such a tight deadline in this brief, it didn't allow for too much thinking but more action and the research was somewhat limited compared to some projects though I have found it really valuable in terms of working to real deadlines and a real live brief. The feedback we received across the board was all positive and it seems like people really liked what we have created.
