Magazine Redesign - Research - Colors Magazine

Though it doesn't relate to architecture as much the work of COLORS magazine is really inspirational. Their honesty in design and communication is something I want to try and carry into my own designs. The bright and simple use of colour is really refreshing even though this design is relatively old.

This cover is one of the most famous and a personal favourite of mine. The whole issue uses no words and tells a story from images alone. (and does so with great success)

This really shows how in just images and layout alone can be really interesting and capture the imagination of the viewer. I feel like my own designs can use this kind of direct communication.
