Influenced by the work of Eboy I have used an isometric grid to keep the angels consistent and the perspective is then clear and can be managed.
The idea is to display a city of the future where the nature and the urban areas are unified. Showing mountains, a river and the sea as the back drop for a modern city of the future.
After scanning in the image, I added a consistent line to allow further attention to detail in the strokes as well as the ability to adjust them. With the windows for example I could ensure they were the same by copying and pasting them into position.
After much experimentation I redrew many of the lines and worked out how the design would best work. The white filled pieces needed to be white to ensure the lines didn't overlap. Overall this more finalised image seemed to work to what was needed. The level of detail was evident but not overpowering, as this could put off the user in filling it in.
The tree needed to be a contrast to the buildings yet feel as if they are a part of the overall designs. The clouds and blimp add an additional dimension to the drawings.
This image shows the more finalised drawing, there are a few small details that have been changed to ensure the clearest communication of the idea. Overall I am very pleased with how it has come out. Colouring it in will allow me to identify more changed that will need to be made to make sure it can be coloured without any problems.
