After conducting some initial research into the story of Leeds I have formulated these five initial ideas. Each very different and including different contexts that would need to be explore. It was a conscious idea to ensure the ideas were very different so the best possible solution could be realised. All these themes will need to be realised with their social, cultural, ethical and commercial roles in terms graphic design communication.

Leeds Town Hall / building built between 1853 and 1858- Designed by Cuthbert Brodrick - Society / Culture.
Leeds West Indian Carnival - Europe's oldest Caribbean carnival - 50th anniversary this year - / Culture / Society
Trump Muslim Ban March - Politics / Society- Recent protest, political issue, tapping into the large Asian communities in Leeds.
Moving forward these topics will need to be further researched and the possible outcomes considered. There is a large range of themes within each of these projects that will lend themselves to very different outcomes, considering what seems the most engaging, appropriate and relevant to my practice.
