OUGD503 - Responsive - Research - Eboy

Eboy- a illustrative studio made up of 3 members based in Canada, there work uses reusable pixel images that combine to create complex interesting images, mainly of city's. Another illustrative work that I have been a fan of for some years, the graphic, colourful and detailed images always seem to offer more than first meets the eye.

The use of an isometric consistent guide and angles to the buildings make the city's seem vast and create an unusual sense of scale. Again the use of typography as a part of the city is innovative and creates an extra sense of wonder in the images.

These unworldly images though seem busy have an order to them that for me personally is very calming and the detail and organised nature of the lines would make the perfect piece for a colouring book. This imagery as well as the work of McBess will form the initial starting points of my own drawings. Working with isometric paper try and replicate the style into my own imagery.
