OUGD505 - Design Practice 2 - Leeds Public Space - Idea 2 - Mock Ups.

 Idea 2. Looking at the work of Louis Le Prince in Leeds in 1888. 

First poster uses six images of Leeds City Bridge taken from the film, the image has been half toned for screen printing. The type is works within the darker shapes of the poster. 

















The second poster uses a singular image of Leeds City Bridge from the video, alongside some simple white typography, The overall style reflects the content being shown but doesn't yet seem very celebratory which is a requirement of the brief. 

This final idea looks at creating a lenticular poster that changes because of the way it has been designed and folded. These images represent tests to see how the work is communicated. I tried initially to see how the poster would work with two images taken from the video but it is difficult to see the transition in the images so a more clear style has been realised using the description of the video ' Leeds City Bridge, Louis Le Prince, 1888'. 

Overall this is just a start in terms of the posters and more experimentation is needed.
