OUGD503 - Responsive - Studio Brief 02 - Royal Opera House - Calder @ Tate Modern - Ed Cheverton Animation

Suggested by Annie this animation by Ed Cheverton created for the Tate Modern's Alexander Calder exhibition. The fun, silly and playful style she explained is what she wants to try and achieve in her drawings. We all in the group really loved the animation and the way it was put together. The combination of drawing, cut out paper, and paint really reflected what we want to achieve in our own work.  We discussed as a group the fact that if we created a short animation this could be easily translated into posters, leaflets and alot more other collateral for our project.

At this point in the project it is great to see that all of the work we like seems to correlate and we are working really well together as a team. The animated idea gives us an opportunity to create a piece of work that combines a large variety of styles into one singular idea. This is something all the members of the group are really pushing.
