Picking a suitable idea.

As discussing my work within group critics, with friends and giving myself time to think it over I have decided to look into African currency and create one currency to represent all the notes, much like the Euro representing all the European countries. This is because in my feed back this idea seemed to stand out as different and with a lot of possibilities to it. There are many avenues with this idea I could go down. Firstly looking at creating a professional and real feeling design to accurately represent each country using a combination of symbols and images. Secondly a more playful designs that uses more illustrations to represent Africa and finally looking at combining both styles to create a real feeling bank note that uses more informal imagery. My next step within this project is to look at some example of just African currency and begin to pin point what it is I could include in my own designs.
