Using the same CMYK half tone back ground image and the sqaure format these new logos have been put forward. The Century Gothic typeface was changed to Neo Sans Pro, this was a design feature I really prefered if it was Century Gothic, I felt the shapes had a more consistent style and that the Futura like typeface represented that its a graphic design exhibition. This was not the shared view of the group and we decided to go with this more toned down bold typeface. Some other design features changed from my orginal logo has been the box framing the logo. This emphasises clarity in the designs and highlights the word notes much more effectively. I personally much prefered the other designs and felt these new images looked much more coperate and and slightly toned back and lack luster, it is of course though a group project so the picking of the logo must be done as a team.
We chose to use the all caps type this would make sure the designs are really clear and readable and would be easier to constuct when made into boxes. The use of a double line was surgessted I felt there wasnt much reasoning behind it but we decided to use it anyway.
After a discussion in our group we decided that this image shown here would be our final logo, this could then be transfered into our wayfinding, invites and signage.
